How to transfer your route way into a mapinfo

We will use GPS Garmin 76 CSX
In here we will use at least 3 programs to transform the datas :
1. dnrgarmin
2. mapsource
3. mapinfo
First, you need to connect your GPS and Computer, using a cable data
After all, you can open mapsource
In that menu, choose Transfer, and Receive from the device
If the device has detected, there will be a display the name of GPS
Choose what toreceive :
- waypoint (to receive the record of points)
- tracks ( to receive the record of tracks)
If you wanna change the formation of degree, change it in Edit -> Preferences. and choose position
There will be some option about degree types.
Usually, i use degree in lat/lon dd.mm.ss
datum in WGS 84
Other adjustment is unit, if you wanna change from feet into meter.
After all, choose apply

After you've seen all the tracks and waypoints, you can save as in extension GPX

From this file

Open dnrgarmin
Choose Load file -> From\
And change the extension file into GPX
Find your file in GPX that you save before in mapsources.
There will be an option between point and track.
After the records is displayed, you can save the datas in extension shp.

In mapinfo, you can translate this file, using universal translator

After you transfer in *.tab. You can open by typical way.
